The Work

Yona has been our work of passion, coming to life over nights and weekends. The launch of this site is the fruit of that labor. Take a peek into the research and exploration behind Yona.


We experimented with a research method called radical empathy to help those who have not experienced the exam for themselves build understanding, awareness, and empathy.









This is just the beginning. Eventually, we want to branch out to other aspects of the pelvic exam (you’re next, stirrups) and other exams entirely.
